Chilled Wine is Served
When two good friends get together to celebrate something special, they should probably enjoy a little chilled wine together, wouldn’t you say? To commemorate my good friend Monica’s arrival at Scrapbook Graphics today, we decided to celebrate the best way we knew how… with a collab! Share a glass of Chilled Wine with us, won’t you?
It’s especially tasty right now, since you can pick it up at 25% off for the next 24 hours here in the Sugarplum Shop!
Here are some delicious layouts from Christine, Leslie and Jennette (click to enlarge):
And this precious one from Crystal:

With 17 papers and 85-some elements (plus two alphas) this is one jam-packed kit! We hope you will enjoy a glass of Chilled Wine with us to mark this special occasion.
Happy scrapping!
Scraplift with a Twist Challenge
Hey everyone! Crystal here to bring you our first ever Sugarplum Paperie blog challenge!! I am Nicole’s most annoying CTM! LOL!
Today I am going to be giving you a Scraplift with a Twist challenge. I will link you to one of our girls’ gorgeous galleries and you can lift any LO that you choose. The twist is that I would like for the dominant color of the LO to be your favorite color. I chose this challenge because it’s always fun to be inspired by someone else, but I want you to really make the LO your own. Sound fun?! I hope so!!
This week we are going to use Leslie’s gallery (1girl1boy). She has a gorgeous gallery and I really hope that you will find it as inspiring as I do. You can choose any LO and go with whatever you find inspiring about it! That’s what so fun about a lift! It doesn’t have to be an exact copy. You just find a LO that moves you in some way and make it your own!
I chose Leslie’s just me LO. I have wanted to lift this LO ever since she did it, and this gives me a perfect chance! I even went with the same theme she had going, but you don’t all have to do that. Here’s my LO:

As you can see my favorite color is pink.
I used a huge mix of Sugarplum goodies on that LO, which is so fun to do because all of Nicole’s stuff goes together perfectly! You can click for the full credits.
So, head on over to Leslie’s gallery and find your inspirational LO. Go and post your LO in the gallery of your choosing (and make sure to credit the original LO please!) and come back here to this post and leave us the link to your LO in the comments section in order to be eligible for the prize of a gift card. I will be picking the winner at random next Friday, Sept. 5. Please use mostly Sugarplum goodies on your LO. You can find Nicole’s stuff at the Sugarplum Paperie store and at The Digichick. Nicole has had TONS of freebies right here on the Sugarplum blog if you haven’t been able to buy any goodies for a while too, so don’t feel like you can’t play because you haven’t been able to shop.
The challenge is open from 08/29 – 09/05 and then there will be another new and super fun challenge! I can’t wait to see all your gorgeous LO’s! Thank you so much for playing with me!!!

Mango Sorbet
Are you ready for something really delicious?! How about a serving of some tasty Mango Sorbet—yum!:
Andrea Burns and I have teamed up to bring you this yummy combination of sweet and tangy flavors. It’s just delicious! I have some yummy projects to show you, too—as promised! But first…
Also new this week (both at the Sugarplum Shop and the Digichick), a wooden alphabet (which also coordinates perfectly with the new kit!):
These goodies are 20% off today (both the new items in my shop and at the Digichick). Also, I’ve added in two of my favorite alphas to my Digichick shop this week, so they are also on sale! If you’ve been waiting to get the Clear White Alpha or the Graph Paper Alpha on sale, today is your day to save! Be sure to stop by the Digichick to see what’s new.
Would you like to see some beautiful projects the girls have been working on using Mango Sorbet? Here some beautiful layouts from Crystal, Kristin and Leslie:
And Krista, Kelliegh (note that this one is PAPER!) and another from Kristin:
And here are some fabulous hybrid projects made by Kelleigh, Kim and Mari Koegelenberg at the Digichick (I asked if I could post her wonderful little notebook on the blog today–isn’t it adorable?):
(You can find out more about those cute little notebooks here @ TDC.)
Well, that’s all for today! But it’s all so gorgeous, isn’t it? I love being able to post a bunch of layouts from my wonderfully talented creative team along with my new kits now. Being at TDC has really helped me to get myself organized! YAY!
Stay tuned tomorrow for something new on the blog! The CT girls will be taking over on Fridays to post some fun challenges for you—with gift card prizes, of course, just for you! Miss Crystalbella will be our first host. Stop by tomorrow afternoon to play along with her great challenge!
Until then, happy scrapping!
The New Hybrid Creative Team!
I am so pleased to announce the new members of my little hybrid team! If you know me, you know that it’s very hard for me to say no to anyone who applies to my calls. I had hoped to add four, maybe five new members to my team. I’ve added seven instead! Yes, I think I have the world’s biggest CT for one designer. We joke that our message board is so hoppin’ it’s like a mini-DST! Ha!
Anyway, please help me welcome these very talented ladies to the Sugarplum Paperie Hybrid Creative Team!:
Eva :: Jen
Jessica :: Kelleigh
Kim :: Kristie
Sharon
And if you can believe it–they’ve already gotten to work on a bunch of projects, so I have a few wonderful things to show you today! First up are two gorgeous cards from Sharon. She made this stunning Love card (using the new Sweet Afternoon kit) and this precious Be Happy card (using bits and pieces from the Twist Collection) this week (just click to enlarge):
Sharon also made this adorable bag tag for her son, which inspired Krista and Jill (who made boy and girl tags for her son’s class) as they worked on similar projects for their kids, too:
And here are some sweet cards from Eva (the first one using Mango Tango and the second one using Party Hat) and from Jessica (using China Blue):
And then Kim made this sweet little brag book about her daughter using the Twist Collection:
And then Jen went wild with the Twitter Blossoms kit and made a whole bunch of different things, including a covered composition book, a frame and a set of onsies!!!
She’s even made a second set of onesies here: Queen of Hearts Onsies. She says it’s really easy! Just get some of those iron on transfer thingies from the office supply store and go to town! (By the way, isn’t her packaging for this set adorable?!)
Well, I’m just in awe of all the things these girls have been up to in such a short amount of time. But the thing that amazes me the most is that these keepsakes and gifts are things that are going out there, into the real world to bring a little happiness to someone else. Thinking of that makes me want to start tearing up—and I’m not the type to cry at the drop of a hat! It’s all just so wonderful…
So, are you feeling inspired?! I’ll have even more hybrid goodies to show you tomorrow from Kim and Kelleigh. And why tomorrow? Well, because it will be Thursday—and that means it’s time for a new product in the shop! And this time it’s a bit of collaborative beauty. I’ve teamed up with Andrea Burns to make a tasty new kit. I begged her to collab with me because I think she makes some really yummy papers!
Would you like a sneak peek?! Of course you would! Warning—this one is deliciously dangerous!

Okay, okay… one more tease. Here is a gorgeous layout from Kate, using the new kit:

See you tomorrow with all the details! Until then, happy scrapping!
Creative Monday
Happy Monday! We had a great weekend, full of fun (even blogged about it)! Now it’s time to get back to work for the week. Good thing I love my job!
I have some really gorgeous layouts to show you today! This first one from Becky, using the new Sweet Afternoon kit, was so beautiful, I told her I was going to give it first place in today’s post! Isn’t this lovely? (click to enlarge even more):
Here are some gorgeous layouts from Rosanne, Christine and Leslie, all using bits and pieces from the Twist Collection:
And here are some fantastic layouts from Nett, Crystal and Michelle, all using bits and pieces from the August Grab Bag:
Speaking of which, August is almost over… which means that this grab bag will soon be coming down and if you like what you’ve seen in it so far, you’d better grab it now! Because it won’t be just $3.00 once I unpack it… more like $14.00! So, be sure to pick it up now.
Well, later this week I’ll be announcing the new members of the first ever Sugarplum Paperie Hybrid Creative Team. I hope to have lots of gorgeous hybrid things to show you as well.
Until then, happy scrapping!
