The New Hybrid Creative Team!

I am so pleased to announce the new members of my little hybrid team! If you know me, you know that it’s very hard for me to say no to anyone who applies to my calls. I had hoped to add four, maybe five new members to my team. I’ve added seven instead! Yes, I think I have the world’s biggest CT for one designer. We joke that our message board is so hoppin’ it’s like a mini-DST! Ha!

Anyway, please help me welcome these very talented ladies to the Sugarplum Paperie Hybrid Creative Team!:

Eva :: Jen
Jessica :: Kelleigh
Kim :: Kristie
Sharon

And if you can believe it–they’ve already gotten to work on a bunch of projects, so I have a few wonderful things to show you today! First up are two gorgeous cards from Sharon. She made this stunning Love card (using the new Sweet Afternoon kit) and this precious Be Happy card (using bits and pieces from the Twist Collection) this week (just click to enlarge):

Sharon also made this adorable bag tag for her son, which inspired Krista and Jill (who made boy and girl tags for her son’s class) as they worked on similar projects for their kids, too:

And here are some sweet cards from Eva (the first one using Mango Tango and the second one using Party Hat) and from Jessica (using China Blue):

And then Kim made this sweet little brag book about her daughter using the Twist Collection:

And then Jen went wild with the Twitter Blossoms kit and made a whole bunch of different things, including a covered composition book, a frame and a set of onsies!!!

She’s even made a second set of onesies here: Queen of Hearts Onsies. She says it’s really easy! Just get some of those iron on transfer thingies from the office supply store and go to town! (By the way, isn’t her packaging for this set adorable?!)

Well, I’m just in awe of all the things these girls have been up to in such a short amount of time. But the thing that amazes me the most is that these keepsakes and gifts are things that are going out there, into the real world to bring a little happiness to someone else. Thinking of that makes me want to start tearing up—and I’m not the type to cry at the drop of a hat! It’s all just so wonderful…

So, are you feeling inspired?! I’ll have even more hybrid goodies to show you tomorrow from Kim and Kelleigh. And why tomorrow? Well, because it will be Thursday—and that means it’s time for a new product in the shop! And this time it’s a bit of collaborative beauty. I’ve teamed up with Andrea Burns to make a tasty new kit. I begged her to collab with me because I think she makes some really yummy papers!

Would you like a sneak peek?! Of course you would! Warning—this one is deliciously dangerous!

Okay, okay… one more tease. Here is a gorgeous layout from Kate, using the new kit:

See you tomorrow with all the details! Until then, happy scrapping!
