About Me

WHO: My name is Nicole Seitler. I’m a 36 year-old stay-at-home wife (to Travis) and mother to four beautiful children. I’m a Florida native—a rare bird indeed—who’s been moving around the East Coast for the last 10 years, only to return home to beautiful Sarasota in 2009.
WHAT: Sugarplum Paperie is a dream of mine that’s finally come to life. It all started when I stumbled on to the wonderful world of Digital Scrapbooking one day. Ever since, I’ve had a nagging urge to learn how to make my own beautiful papers and elements. So, in the summer of 2007, I started my own posting place to share some of the things I made as I discovered more and more and more about digital design. My first [hideous] freebies from 2007 are still here and still available for download. I opened my own little shop on Digital Scrapbooking Day, November 3, 2007. In August of 2008, I joined the Digichick as a guest designer and loved it so much, I begged to stay. In February of 2009, I took over as the owner of the Digichick, managing the store with 30-some other designers. In January of 2012, I began working with a paper scrapbooking company and quickly found I could not do it all. I stepped down from managing the Digichick in the spring of 2012 and started to design again full-time at the Sweet Shoppe that April.
WHERE: I sell my designs for digital scrapbook addicts in my Sugarplum Paperie shop and at the Sweet Shoppe.
WHY: I picked the name “Sugarplum Paperie” for sentimental reasons. When I was a little girl, my mother would call me her “Little Sugarplum.” I remember once she even ordered me a set of pencils for school that said “Sugarplum” on them. So, I’m fond of the name. As for the “Paperie” part, it’s just one of those nifty-cool words, don’t ya think? Together I think they’re just perfect: Sugarplum Paperie!
