Blog Challenge: Scraplift With a Twist
Howdy everyone! It’s Leslie here with this week’s blog challenge. When I sat down to think about what kind of challenge I wanted to do, it hit me that it had been awhile since we’d done a lift. With that in mind, I knew exactly where I was headed. This time around we are going to be lifting Denise (neeceebee). I’ve been a fan of hers for quite some time now and I think it’s only fair to expose the rest of you to this super talented lady! Take some time to peruse her gallery. I promise you won’t be disappointed. She has so many awesome pages to choose from and the decision was tough, but I finally settled on this one to use for the challenge.
Her use of paper blocks and simple elements just make this layout a standout. Now as you can tell, Denise created this with a Christmas theme in mind, but I can’ t wait to see all the different ways you take this.
I just had to try my hand at this and here is what I came up with.
Please use mostly Sugarplum Paperie products in your LOs. Nicole has a massive amount of freebies right here on the blog and awesome goodies at her own shop and TDC.
This challenge will run from 03/27-04/02. To play along with the challenge, don’t forget to link us up in the comment section. Thanks for playing along with us here at Sugarplum!
Blog Challenge… Make a Seasonal Banner!

Jill (jjstar) here again, twice in one week… are you excited? Haha! Did you catch the tutorial earlier this week? I provided detailed instructions on how to create an Easter banner. Now I’m here to challenge you to create one of your own!
Here are some other decoration items to get your creative juices going:
The Fine Print: please use Sugarplum goodies to create your banner. You can find Nicole’s stuff at the Sugarplum Paperie shop and at The Digichick. Nicole has had TONS of freebies, so don’t feel like you can’t play because you haven’t been able to shop.
Upload your project to any gallery you want, and leave a link to your layout in the comments section of this post. You have until Thursday, March 26th to complete the challenge and you could win a $5.00 gift certificate to the Sugarplum Paperie shop!
Congratulations to Christina who won the challenge from last week… here is her layout!
Have fun with this! I can’t wait to see what everyone creates!!!
Photo Inspiration Challenge
Brenda {brenda smith} here with a fun challenge for you. At least I hope it is fun.
What I would like for you to do is take this beautiful photo and make a layout based on what it inspires you to do. You can choose the colors as your inspiration or the shapes and position of the windmill to inspire your page.
Let your imagination run with your layout! Have fun.

I took the colors in the windmill and the round shape out of the inspiration photo. {click the image for credits}
And here is a fun one from Elaine:

You have until March 20th to finish your layout. One lucky winner will receive a $5.00 gift card to Sugarplum Paperie!
Please use mostly Sugarplum goodies. You can find Nicole’s stuff at the Sugarplum Paperie shop and at The Digichick. Nicole has had TONS of freebies, so don’t feel like you can’t play because you haven’t been able to shop.
