Happy Monday! Boy, do I have a lot of great layouts to show you today! Not only has the Creative Team been a bunch of buzy little scrappers this week, I also have two gorgeous layouts to show you from the winners of the “Grab Your Camera” challenge! Let’s jump right in and be inspired:

Here is a beautiful layout from Shaz, using the Petite Fours paper pack. Look at this chickie! She’s all baby–no fat! I’m jealous because I never look this cute when I’m pregnant:

29 weeks

And here is a super cute layout from Jill, using A Little Birdie. I love the playful off-center feel of this one!

Make me Smile

Here is a gorgeous layout from Tigz, using the new Paper Garden collab kit. She has such a way with elements!

Angels Skip Around

Here is a beautiful layout from Nett, using a mix of Flirty Skirty papers, Printed Paperie and other fun stuff. I just love the combination of black and peach colors here. Just gorgeous!

Daydreamer

And here’s a fantastic layout from Michelle, using a mix of Summer Sorbet and Grasshopper Kisses. I just love how she made the tag into a frame and the title is just perfect!

Cold Pug

Be sure to stop by these lovely layouts and leave these girls some praise!

Now, to announce the winners of last week’s “Grab Your Camera” challenge! We had more than 20 players, so I’ll be sending out two gift cards! Our winners had such beautiful layouts, I just had to show them off here during Creative Monday!

Our first winner is Sabrina! Here is her gorgeous layout that she made using the Vintage Garden freebie (which you can find here):

Me & My Camera

And our second winner is Cheryl! Here is her stunning layout, using the new Paper Garden collection:

My Obsession

Congratulations, girls! I’ll be sending you an e-mail so you can go shopping! Aren’t they both fantastic layouts?! Everyone had such a great submissions for this contest. I just love seeing all your work. I always say that I like for you to leave me links so I can see your layouts. This one way (my evil plan!) to get you to send me those lovely little links. Mwua-haha!!

Well, I hope you find all these layouts to be inspiring… get your creative juices flowing and the like. Oh! And before I forget–one last thing! There is a new template at the Shanty, so be sure to stop by and pick it up. This week I picked one of my own paper layouts to make into a template. I hope you enjoy scrapping with it!

Gorgeous work, isn’t it? Wow! This is so much fun!!!

So, don’t delay–scrap a snapshot of yourself with your camera! Remember, the more people that enter, the more people will win!

Happy scrapping!

So, I was teasing Jessy the other day, telling her that if I couldn’t get her to make digital layouts for the Creative Team, I’d just start using her paper layouts that she’s posting at the Shanty. But I did kinda mean it—she’s been inspiring me! Take a look at this great layout:

Star Quality

This layout really got me thinking. I love her snapshot. So much so that we’re going to have a Challenge! Here are the rules so you can play along:

1) Grab your camera!

2) Take a snapshot of yourself.

3) Scrap it!

4) Use some Sugarplum things on your layout (freebies are fine, too!).

5) Come back here and leave me a link to your layout to enter!

I’ll give you the weekend to play and then pick a winner on Monday morning. So feel free to leave me a link up until midnight on Sunday, June 22nd (EST)!

And what’s the prize? A $5 gift card to the Sugarplum Paperie shop! And how many will win? Well… that depends on how many play along! For every 10 people who play along, I’ll give out 1 gift card—so the more scrappers, the better! Feel free to spread the word!

Here’s my layout:

And here’s one from Andrea:

And another from Crystal:

Come and join us and make your own. So much fun!

Best of luck to you and happy, happy scrapping!

Win a Free Kit!

Would you like to win a free kit from me? Quick! Run over to Andrea’s blog and leave a comment letting her know what your favorite Sugarplum kit is. One lucky winner will receive the kit her heart desires! Best of luck!

Hello to the Future! I’m writing to you from the past! What am I talking about?! Let me explain…

This is one of the reasons that I just love using WordPress! You see, I wrote this post for you yesterday morning because I wanted to let you know about lots of fun stuff, even though right now I’m currently relaxing at home without my laptop. I need some time away from the computer to reorganize my life and rethink my priorities, you know what I mean? Having my husband literally take the computer away from the house is the only way for me to get that done—Ha!

So, I’m taking a break from the computer, at least for the weekend. If you have any customer service issues with the shop, I will help you with them as soon as I am able to! I didn’t want to walk away from things without giving you a heads up.

In other news, I have some fun things to share with you today! First of all, my weekly freebie template is now available at the Shanty blog! Here’s the template:

This week I plan to give away a $5 gift card if we have more than six people play along with us. For all the details, see the thread here: Scraplift Conversion - May 23rd.

And I also wanted to let you know about a free mini kit I designed for my Squidoo lens on Digital Scrapbook Freebies! I figured, if the lens is about freebies, why not put a freebie on the lens? Brilliant! Don’t know why I didn’t think of that sooner… Ha! Here’s a preview of the kit, Vintage Garden:

Vintage Garden

Feel free to stop by the lens to download the kit–no registration required; no strings attached! It’s just a link. So, enjoy the kit! And feel free to upload any of your layouts to my Sugarplum Sunshine Gallery! I’d love to see what you create.

Until next time, happy scrapping!

Would you like to win a $5 gift card to the Sugarplum Paperie shop? Then be sure you visit the Shanty’s Challenge blog and play along with this week’s Scraplift Conversion Challenge, hosted by yours truly!

I look forward to seeing all your fabulous layouts! Be sure to upload them to the Shanty’s Gallery and post about them in the Scraplift Conversion thread. You must be a member to post, so be sure to sign up today!

Congratulations to the winner of the template challenge at the Shanty! The randomly selected winner of the $10 Sugarplum Paperie gift card was ramieahlstrom! And here is her winning layout:

Year in Review

Isn’t it sweet?

Some of you who signed up at the Shanty were also lucky enough to find the 50% off coupon that was hiding there in the forums. Congrats to you smart and savvy shoppers as well!

I hope those of you who joined the community have found it to be a great place to go for inspiration and encouragement. I know it’s one of my favorite places!

My sponsorship month is up now! It was a lot of fun to see all the great layouts the girls on the Shantylicious Digi Sisters team made with my things. This month, Dawn Inskip is the sponsor at the Shanty. Here’s a little peak at two layouts I did with her fun A Grand Day Out kit:

Goofy Girl Things I Love

Well, I think that’s all for now… I’m looking forward to a nice restful weekend! Hope you have a great weekend, too. Happy scrapping!

Just a little reminder about the contest I’m holding at The Shanty this month! I used the template that I’m giving away to make my own layout:

Year in Review

Don’t forget: you could win a $10 gift certificate to Sugarplum Paperie if you create a layout using this template and post it at the Shanty! (All the details are in this post here: January at The Shanty)

I love giving things away. Can you tell? This will be the third contest I’ve hosted in under 30 days. What fun!

Well, the reason I’m having this contest is that I’m stumped. I don’t know what to name a new kit I’ve designed! I need your help… here is what the kit looks like:

Name Me!

And here are the elements:

Name Me!

Would you like to win this kit? Then leave me a comment with some great names please. I’ll keep this contest open until Friday, January 11 at noon when I’ll pick the winner (or winners).

I can’t wait to hear your ideas! Thanks for your help.

I’m this month’s sponsor at The Shanty! And the Shanty’s creative team is busy whipping up fancy designs with a few of my favorite kits. It’s so exciting to see what they make! If you’re a member of the Shanty, you can take a peek in the gallery here: January Sponsor.

And speaking of being a member of the Shanty, I want to take a minute to tell you why you should be a member, too!

I know a lot of people feel like it’s almost pointless to post their work on-line anymore, since the only way to receive any comments these days is to play a praise game or two. The Shanty is different. The first layout I ever posted at the Shanty received nine comments overnight! That’s one thing I love about the Shanty—people there still leave you authentic praise! Another thing I love about the Shanty is that it is a community full of both paper scrappers and digital scrappers. When you look through the gallery, you’ll find a ton of inspiration! Maybe a few things you never thought of before, as well.

And if those nice things aren’t incentive enough for you to join, I’ll give you another one: I’m hosting a contest at The Shanty! If you click on the template below, it will take you to the forums, where you’ll find the link to this cute little template hiding:

Year in Review

Download the template, create something beautiful with it and upload it to The Shanty’s gallery. Everyone who does so during the month of January will be entered in a drawing to win a $10.00 gift certificate to my store! Just be sure to leave a link to your layout in this thread at The Shanty. Then I’ll announce the winner here on February 1st!

Once you start to post at The Shanty, I’m sure that you’ll discover what I mean about it being a wonderful little community! I hope you find it as delightful as I do. Best of luck in the drawing!
