A Little Birdie

A little birdie told me that there was a new kit in the Sugarplum shop! It’s called A Little Birdie and it’s full of softness, sweetness and shabbiness—yum!

Here are the papers:

Hope you like it! The next idea I have in mind for a kit will be very different. I seem to like making both shabby things and bold things. It’s time for a bold thing. Maybe a little orange, too. I love orange! It’s one of those colors that I really should lavish a little more love and affection on…

I also have a question for you: My list of newsletter subscribers grew so large, I had to move to a new system so that I can send out a few hundred batches over the course of a few hours. But the numbers that the program gives to me when it’s done have me a little worried! Would you mind voting in this quick little poll to reassure me that everything is a-ok? Thanks so much!

Happy scrapping!

The second set of Monograms is now in the shop! Here is Volume 2:

Volume 2

And you can also now get both sets together! Not only will you get all six alphabets and 12 clusters, you’ll also save $1.00 when you purchase the whole collection:

Monogram Collection

Now, I know you. You love freebies! Me, too! And let me tell you–it’s even more fun to give them out! I’ve made a little sampler for you that contains one ampersand in each of the six colors, along with two pre-shadowed clusters! Enjoy them:

Monogram Ampersands

And in other news, I’ve decided to leave the Sunshine Shop. I didn’t really have anything in my little section of the store anyway, just some collab kits that I’ve made with other Sunshine Girls. But I spent a huge amount of time on a million little behind the scenes things for the Sunshine Studio and it finally caught up with me—I felt like it was time for me to step down for my own sanity! It’s really hard to try to “do it all.” I don’t know why I keep trying to do it… LOL! So, when you hear that I’m not there any longer, it’s not due to any “secret drama;” It’s just that I got burnt out from working overtime. Thankfully, they have a new tech support person on staff to give them the help that they need, so that makes me feel good. I wish them the best!

So, anyway… here’s to happy scrapping! Thanks for listening and I hope you have a wonderful day!

There’s a new embellishment pack in the Sugarplum Shop! It’s a collection of Monograms with pre-shadowed clusters:

Monograms, Vol. 1

The collection contains three sets of monogram letters in pink, blue and plain paper, along with six clusters of fun embellishments with flowers, butterflies and ribbons or stars, notepapers and silver accents. “Fun for a girl or a boy!”

Each cluster comes separate so that you can add it where ever you think it looks best! Here’s a layout that I made using the monogram set, along with some things from the new Plumberry Teacakes kit:

Date Night

As you can see, because the clusters come separate from the letters, you are able to use them any way you like to! I layered my photo and frame in between the letter “N” and the flower cluster. I could even use the flower or star clusters by themselves. It’s so easy to simply open one of them up and drag it on to my layout—it’s all ready to go!

I hope you enjoy playing with these fun pieces! And be on the lookout for a second set of monograms early next week!

Also, I’ll be back later this afternoon with another Shanty template to share with you… but I need to make it first—Ha!

Happy scrapping!

Happy NSD to all of you! And happy 6 month anniversary to me and Sugarplum Paperie! I opened my little shop on November 3rd last year (on what was then Digital Scrapbooking Day). And what a blast it’s been!

I hope you’re having fun with all the festivities that are to be found today. I have some festive things to share with you, too! The first is this little freebie. I love seeing people use the paper strips from my Leap Frog freebie so much, that I decided to make some more. Enjoy!:

Shop Talk

So, I’ve been making a few changes in the shop. I thought I’d let you know about them! First, I took the papers and elements from both Confetti & Candy and Summer Sorbet and I’ve made them into whole kits, both priced at $4.00 (save $1.00 on each!):

Confetti & Candy

And then, I’ve given one of my very first paperie packs a makeover! I created these papers back when I felt very inept with creating elements (so I didn’t even try). Here is the NEW 7th Avenue:

7th Avenue

I hope you like it! Included in the kit are 16 concentric circles that I know some talented scrapper is just going to go to town with. I can’t wait to see your layouts! This has always been one of my favorite packs, so I’m happy to give it a new life.

Enjoy! And happy scrapping!

New! In the shop: Sweet & Simple Templates! Get your scraping done in a snap with four different collections:

Or you can get the entire collection of Sweet & Simple Templates and save $4.00! Contains Volumes 1 through 4:

Each template has been saved as layered .psd and .tif file, along with the individual .png files; 12 x 12 at 300 dpi.

Would you like to see some pretty layouts that the girls and I made using these templates? Well, here you go! (Just click for credit and to leave love at DST):

Hope they inspire you! Enjoy–and happy scrapping!

Printed Paperie

There’s a little something that’s rather “newsworthy” in the shop today! Printed Paperie:

Printed Paperie

Just wanted to let you know! Now I’m off to scrap a little myself! If I come up with anything pretty, I’ll be sure to share.

EDIT: Okay! That didn’t take me long at all! Here’s my layout:

Sweet Trouble

Leave me some love at MSA and DST!

Sorbet Kisses

Happy Good Friday!

I hope you all are enjoying the Easter Egg hunt. I know there have been a few snags along the way. Be sure to check in at the Sunshine blog this afternoon for a reveal of all the participants and their blogs. (Here’s a clue in the meantime: If you ended up at Amanda’s blog twice, you need to go to Trish’s blog next.)

And I have a new kit in the shop! A little something that’s sweet and full of Springtime goodness: Sorbet Kisses!

Sorbet Kisses

I can’t wait to see what my creative girls do with this one! I think this kit will mix in well with some of the other kits and shop freebies I’ve made.

I especially love these flowers! They were made at the request of Flergs (and she even helped to name the kit, too). Megs keeps trying to talk me into making commercial use items and I’m seriously thinking about it after making these flowers for the kit! The pretty button center was a something that Kristi gave me to play with. Want to see a close up?

And then there are all the pretty papers in this kit–each one different! Here is my favorite one:

Sorbet Paper

I’m starting to wonder if my favorite color is still green or if it’s teal now. I just love teal lately. So pretty! I think I put a lot more teal into my kits then I do green! Ha!

Well, I hope you have a wonderful weekend! I’m going to enjoy it and try to relax after all the work I’ve been doing lately to not only get this kit ready for the shop, but also help get the Sunshine blog ready for the Easter Egg hunt and help with organizing the Walking on Sunshine kit (Monica says I should do previews for hire and I will pack all her kits up for her now–LOL!).

Whew! What a crazy week… but have I mentioned how much I love my friends lately? The Sunshine Girls are just the best! I don’t know what I’d do without their love and support, encouragement and constructive criticism. I’m so blessed to know each and everyone of them.

Well, I’m off to pretend like I’m on a holiday! Happy scrapping!

SUNSHINE!

Oh, my goodness–people put on your sunglasses! Things are about to get very bright! The Sunshine Girls have just released our first collaboration–Walking on Sunshine:

Walking on Sunshine

This kit is jam-packed with both sunny and shabby goodness! It includes over 80 unique papers and over 280 elements, including floral and glittery overlays, brackets and mats, along with 7 alphabets. Over 750mb all together!

And that’s not all! You can purchase this kit in two separate parts: Bright & Sunny and Shabby & Chic. There is also a collection of Quick Pages (sold together and in sets of 3: #1, #2, #3), a set of Styles (glitter, plastic and plastic glitter), a Brag Book and a set of Paper Overlays! It’s insane! We all had a part to contribute and we made the things we were best at! (We made a lot.)

So, do you love us for all we’ve done for you in the past? Do you want to give us a little show of support? Then check out the Sunshine section of the Sugarplum Shop and get yourself a little bit of sunshine!

Happy scrapping!

There’s a new kit in the shop–one I’m ever-so proud of! Here is China Blue:

China Blue

I also thought it was about time to share a little something with you, too. I know I’ve been so busy, I haven’t shared much lately! I’ve been working on those “bigger” freebies you said you liked. Hee hee!

So, here is a pretty paper flower that matches the new kit perfectly! Enjoy:

China Blue Paper Flower

DETAILS:
Contains one paper flower with button
300 dpi, saved as .png file
