Creative Monday
Happy Monday to you! Here in Florida, it’s raining like it’s monsoon season! Time for a little something to brighten up the day, I think. How about some creative beauty? That always cheers me up!

The Paperclipping Digi Show
I was invited to be a part of something last week that had me feeling honored, frightened, nervous and excited—all at the same time! Steph from The Daily Digi is the host of this great podcast that’s all about digital scrapbooking and I was sent an invitation to be a part of episode 12!
Past guests on the show have included Ali Edwards, C.D. Muckosky, Anna Aspnes and Liz Tamanaha… (can you see why I freaked out?!) My first thought was “Oh my gosh! Why do they want me?!” I thought for sure we’d be talking about hybrid scrapping or papercrafting (because of The Hybrid Chick)… that’s all I could think of! LOL! But it turns out, no… they just wanted me for me. Now that make me feel like a superstar!

Also, you may have heard about this fabulous new collab at A5D that was released this weekend. It’s called Hands Across the Gulf:
I wanted to share a few layouts made with the collab with you today. I couldn’t find a layout using one of my patterned papers to show you, but I did find one from Krista, who’s on my creative team, using a few of my elements (a stamp and some word art):
And I love this gorgeous one from the talented Crystal (who used to be on my creative team, so I figured she wouldn’t mind showing up on the blog for Creative Monday). 
She also used some of my elements on her page (stamp, bow, button and flower):
I was so honored to be invited to be a part of this collaboration… and be able to do something to help the waters I love so much! I’m a Gulf Coast Resident, so this project was very close to my heart. Siesta Key, which is just a few minutes from my house, has some of the whitest sand in the world. So far, we have been spared, but I shudder to think what will happen to our beaches if the currents shift or a hurricane comes to stir things up in the Gulf.
I hope you will consider purchasing this fabulous collab. It is simply packed with gorgeous designs from so many talented designers. You will NOT be disappointed. Such a small price for so many digital goodies… and for such a good cause.
