I have a lovely new kit in the shop this week, full of sunshine and sweetness! It’s called Ready for Change: I may live in a more tropical climate now (where it’s already warm enough to enjoy the beach—which we did on Monday!), but I remember the longing I had for springtime when I lived up north. Come March, I just wanted winter to back its bags and go way for a good, long time. I wanted this kit to celebrate spring with all its cheerful brightness. Here are some amazing layouts from the talented girls on my creative team! My new self-passed class, Pixels to Paper : Spring Crafts, begins today at Scrapaneers! Now that I’ve taught an introductory class that covers all the basics of hybrid, I’ve created a projects-based class that focuses on showing you just how to create three gorgeous crafts to help you celebrate the season! This class includes everything you need to make three beautiful springtime projects, including all papers, elements and template files that I used to make the samples for the class. And you can re-use the templates included in this class for future projects that you may want to make–they aren’t just limited to celebrating spring! Each video in the class walks you step-by-step through the entire process, from start to finish. We’ll move from Photoshop

For the last ten years, I’ve been dreaming of the day that I would get to fly to California and attend the Craft & Hobby Association’s annual convention. I had first heard about CHA when my rubber stamping friends would start to ask “Who’s going, who’s going?!” every six months. I wanted to raise my hand! Then when I embarked on my digi adventure, I wanted to go even more! See all the new pretty things? Meet up with other digital designers? Heck, yeah! Sign me up! But it wasn’t until this year that everything was perfectly lined up and I was able to go… and now that I’m home, can I just say: Let’s do this every year, ladies! Every momma needs a trip
I’m not sure if you heard the news, but there’s a new face at Scrapaneers… and it’s me! I have been invited by Tiffany to teach on a topic that I really love—hybrid papercrafting! I’ve been spending a lot of time in my studio over the last few months, working on my class. I’ve been recording every part of the process—from what I do in Photoshop, to how I print at home, to how I use different tools in my studio—to bring you a comprehensive class that covers everything you need to know about hybrid from start to finish. If you’ve been wanting to play around with hybrid papercrafting, but you don’t know where to begin, this class was designed for you! Over three sessions,

This week I was excited to make a little something that was inspired by a Project Life page I was working on. Often when I’m making my digital pages, I will make my own cards. As I worked on my two-page spread for January, I thought to myself, “Hey, I could make a whole set of these! I love them.” So, naturally, I made two. LOL! Each set comes with a set of 7 cards and an alternate version (for a total of 14 cards in each pack). All the cards that you see here with a sentiment on them also come blank so that you can write your own sentiments or journaling on them! Here is the first set, the Sweet Simplicity : Everyday
