Last month, I shared a little about my reasons for taking my Project Life digital in 2013 and why I loved the end result so much. A lot of that had to do with the quality of my prints. After hearing many good reviews of Persnickety Prints for many years, I decided to trust my entire album to them (and I couldn’t be happier with the results!). But just how did I turn a digital kit into paper cards for my Project Life album? There are a number of ways I could have done it, but I think that the method I came up with was both time and cost efficient, so I wanted to share it with you today! I would start off each
In January, I shared a little bit about my Project Life journey and what I’ve done in my albums over the last two years. At the time, I had not printed out any of my digital pages from 2013 to compare to my paper pages from 2012. But this March I finally sent them all off for printing—and I have to say, I am totally in love with my digital version of Project Life! I know I’ve been promising to show off pictures for a long time now… so, I wanted to begin by sharing one of my favorite two-page spreads! Over a year ago, I shared a digital version of Week 3 & 4 here on the blog. Here is what Weeks 3 &

This week, I wanted to try a little something different! I’ve had the idea for a long time to do a Heart Art collection about rainy days and depression. And seeing as I just released a kit all about rainy days (Drip, Drip, Drop), I thought, “What if I were to use the same colors for this Heart Art pack?” That way, you can not only mix and match pieces from each pack, but if you wanted to use some coordinating realistic elements, like flowers, you’d have that option, too! So, I created the Heart Art : After the Rain papers: And the Heart Art : When Skies are Gray elements: So, for example, Madja was able to use several elements from Drip, Drip, Drop

I am embarking on my third year of Project Life in 2014, and the question I’m hearing most often from my friends is “What are you thinking of changing up this year?” Honestly, I am in such a state of limbo right now, it’s hard to think about it… First, I’m still working on wrapping up my project for 2013. I’m happy that I am already into November (especially since I anticipate that November was really light on the pictures. I think there might only be 2 pages for the whole month!). Here are my pages from Halloween, Week 44—woo-hoo! (Just click to enlarge): And with the December Daily album that I’ve been working on, the pages for December in my Project Life album will

Hi, everyone. Sarah, here! I have a new Project Life page to share with you today. For this project I used Simply Wonderful by Erica Zane, Studio Basic, and Sugarplum Paperie. This kit has so many awesome embellishments and amazing papers it was perfect for my Project Life page. I love using dimensional items on my Project Life pages but I worry a bit about the bulk, so I use them fairly sparingly. I do however try to add lots of texture using various paper elements and layers. I love the interest that just paper can create on page. For this first card I used the doily paper included in the kit, reduced to 6″x6″ before printing. I love the little bit of texture that
