August Grab Bag
Woo-hoo! It’s Grab Bag Time at The Digichick this month! Hooray!
This is my third year participating in the August Grab Bags. I can hardly believe that! My first bag I made when I was a guest in 2008. So that means that today also marks my two year anniversary of having Sugarplum Goodies available at The Digichick! Wow—it does not feel like it has been that long.
Well… enough rambling—let’s get on to what you want to see! Here it is! And I’ve given this one a name: Everyday : August 2010 Grab Bag (yeah—I had to start dating them, too! LOL!).
I’ve named this one “Everyday” because as you may know if you’ve purchased any of my previous grab bags, what I enjoy most is getting to stuff these packages full of basic goodies you can use again and again! I try to make my grab bags coordinate enough that you feel like you can use the pieces together, but practical enough that you can use them with any other kit. It’s also a fun time for me to get to play around and make some funky papers! And this time is no exception.
Inside this grab bag, you will find 6 beautifully shabby papers, a set of 12 frames, 14 painted masks to use to make a place for journaling on your layouts, a set of 24 “hand-cut” paper strips and 80 pieces of “everyday” word art, including months and numbers 00-31 for dating your pages. This pack also includes both clean and distressed versions for you to use.
To give you a taste of what’s inside, here are some beautiful layouts from the girls on my creative team! First, here’s a precious layout from Jess, using the bag along with a mix of random Sugarplum goodies:

I hope you enjoy the delightful surprises waiting for you inside! Enjoy! And happy scrapping!
Happy National Scrapbooking Day to You!
It’s NSD! Are you having fun today?!
Well, I have a barrel full of new things to show you today… so hold on to your hats!
First up, I have a new kit in the store today. It’s a birthday themed collection because this year marks the 5 Year Anniversary of the Digichick’s opening day! We’re celebrating with a slew of kits that are available for 50% off all month long.
That’s right—50% off!
My contribution to the party is this bright and cheerful birthday kit, called Something to Celebrate–perfect for when you have something special to scrap about! Inside you will find 10 papers, 20 elements (including frames, stamps, flowers, word art and more!) and a set of numbers, 0-9.
This collection not only coordinates with the other Birthday Bash items at The Digichick this month… but it also was created using the Studio 365 palette, so it will match any of the other Studio 365 items you may have in your stash!
Well, my split personalities have been busy lately. Not only do I have a Sugarplum kit in the store today… I have a Girl Friday Grab Bag, too!
Inside my May Grab Bag, you will find a set of six colorful mini kits celebrating the various emotions of everyday life. It includes an assortment of patterned and plain papers, frames, elements and word art.
This collection also coordinates with the Studio 365 line, including my new Something to Celebrate kit!
You’ll also find that my two shops are on sale today. You’ll be able to save 30% off anything else you’ve had your eye on! But please note—that’s today only, while we celebrate National Scrapbooking Day. If you happen to miss out on today’s sale, no worries—just watch for the announcement that it’s my special day later this month when I will be spotlighted on the Digichick Blog during our month-long Birthday Bash! You’ll have a chance then to save 30% once again!
I hope you have a wonderful day celebrating NSD! Happy, happy scrapping to you!
Happy DSD – Sale & Grab Bag!
Happy Digital Scrapbooking Day to you! I have a lot of goodies to share with you today, so let’s get started!
First of all—there’s a sale in the Sugarplum shop! Save 35% on all items in the shop (including commercial use!) starting today through Sunday.
Also: it’s Grab Bag Time at the Digichick this month! I have a fun little grab bag in store for you:
Here’s a little peek at what you’ll find inside:

This was designed to be a real “grab bag” stuffed with random, happy little things for you to use, so the items don’t quite coordinate with one another… but they are all a useful addition for your stash—things you can use over and over again. And all for just $3.00!
And this week marks the 2nd anniversary of the grand opening of the Sugarplum Paperie shop! I’ll have a few surprises for you this weekend, so stay tuned for all the fun…
More to come later…
Happy scrapping!
